Update regarding PSD Closures

Read Story

Dear FMS Families:

Due to the urging for caution with COVID 19 in our area, and also PSD's decision to remain closed through March 27th, FMS will also be closing our doors - but that doesn't mean music making will stop!

We are moving all private lessons and group classes to live and/or recorded video effective Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27th.

If you have no lessons/classes scheduled during Spring Break, this change will begin for you on Monday, March 23.

We understand that a live/recorded video format will be different from an in-school lesson, however, we believe it is an effective way to keep our students engaged in learning and practicing music in this time when we certainly need some positive distractions and tasks! We believe this is the best solution for giving continuous learning during this time.

We will continue to monitor the situation and extend the time of giving live/recorded video lessons if PSD remains closed beyond March 27th. However, we hope to be back to making music together as soon as possible!

We trust that you understand this is uncharted territory for all of us and our desire is to give you/your student the highest quality instruction so you/your student can continue to have fun, make progress, and remain motivated.

Thank you for your patience and trust as we delve into this together! We will keep you updated as the situation continues to change, and appreciate your understanding.

Please continue to read below for additional information that is relevant specifically to you!
